The Tony Awards announced today that Audemars Piguet will be the presenting sponsor of the 63rd Annual Tony Awards Telecast Red Carpet on June 7th at Radio City Music Hall.

Audemars Piguet, considered one of the world's finest watch manufacturers, will display eight solid aluminum clocks along this year's red carpet. The clocks will be decorated by the nominees for Best Play and Best Musical to represent each one of the productions. After the Tony Awards, the clocks will be displayed in the windows of the Audemars Piguet flagship boutique on 57th Street in Manhattan. The clocks will then be auctioned off for The Actor's Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Actor's Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition.

"We are thrilled to announce Audemars Piguet as our newest corporate partner. Our brand values line up perfectly to make this a mutually beneficial relationship. We are going to be adding some new and innovative elements to our traditional Red Carpet that will make it visually exciting for the participants and media, as well as meaningful for Audemars Piguet," said Jan Friedlander Svendsen, Chief Marketing Officer for Tony Award Productions. "In addition, Audemars Piguet will be creating some excitement in Radio City Music Hall during the commercial breaks of the Tony telecast that will be fun for the audience and that will generate incremental exposure for the brand and their association with the Tonys."

"Audemars Piguet is an exceptional brand that has penetrated diverse lifestyle aspects including sports, culture, entertainment and the arts," said Francois-Henry Bennahmias, CEO & President of Audemars Piguet North America. "The Tonys are a perfect complement to Audemars Piguet, as theatre celebrates life on a daily basis and rewards all those who experience it."
