Euan Morton Flies to Birdland for 11/27 Concerts

In continuation of "Broadway at Birdland," Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com will present Euan Morton in concert on Monday , November 27 at 9pm and 11pm.  The series features top Broadway performers and songwriters at the legendary music room, located at 315 West 44th Street in NYC.

"Morton returns to Birdland with two shows, and will be performing songs from his critically acclaimed debut album NewClear.  The Tony-nominated star will also be singing some favorite covers as well as premiering his own original material," according to press materials.

Morton made his Broadway debut in the musical Taboo.  His performance in the show garnered a Tony nomination and a Theater World Award, in addition to the Olivier Award nomination he earned for starring in the London world premiere.  Recently, he played the title role in Tony Kushner's adaptation of Brundibár at The New Victory Theater, and won an Obie Award for starring in Measure For Pleasure at The Public Theater.  His other New York credits include the title role of the musical Caligula for the inaugural season of the New York Musical Theater Festival (NYMF Best Actor Award).
