The award-winning composer of the Off-Broadway hit "The Lightning Thief" is bringing his brand of smart musical theatre rock to The Bridewell for a one-night only concert of songs from his musicals.

The New York Times calls Rokicki's music "sassy" and "energetic" and fellow writer and frequent collaborator Joe Iconis calls his music "intelligent, inspired, and incredibly relatable."

Joining Rob will be Amanda Flynn (US Wicked, US Mamma Mia), Helen Woolf (UK Wicked Tour), Amy-Jean Ward (TwentySomething Productions), Emily Lynne (Landor Theatre She Loves Me), Cooper Stout (UK Priscilla, Queen of the Desert Tour), Jenny Donaghue, Darren Andrew Wright, and students from the Canterbury Institute of Performing Arts.

Rokicki is a member of the Dramatists Guild and alum of the Tony Award-winning BMI workshop. He co-authored (with Michael Ruby) two award-winning musicals: Love, NY and Strange Tails. Other work: Samson's Fire (The Cell), Martha and ME (NY Fringe), Relativity (Fingerlakes MT fest), and the multimedia Monstersongs. His first studio album featuring Broadway friends is available on iTunes. As an actor, Rob performed in the 25th Anniversary National Tour of Evita under the supervision of Hal Prince, a national tour of Miss Saigon, and many regional theatre credits. www.robertrokicki.com
