Moose + Moa Theatre Company launches on Saturday April 11th, with a performance of The Art of Being Alone, a new work by Stephane Garneau-Monten. A new Toronto based company with a mandate rooted in the creation of new works, Moose + Moa is artist led and seeks to explore original, non-traditional forms of theatre.

The company is currently made up of Artistic Director and founding member Isaac Robinson. Resident performer/writer and founding member Stephane Garneau-Monten. Producing Director and founding member Eric Chad.

Robinson and Garneau-Monten, dual citizens of Canada and New Zealand, and Canadian Chad, founded the company out of a mutual love of storytelling and their combined experiences at McGill University and the National Theatre School of Canada. Moose + Moa places equal importance on all aspects of the theatre arts and hopes to include and nurture all artists from designers and directors to actors and writers.

The Art of Being Alone - written and starring Stephane Garneau-Monten and directed by Isaac Robinson - examines, with a great deal of humor and not a little cheek, catastrophic heartache and depression in the aftermath of a bad break up.

The Art of Being Alone by Stephane Garneau-Monten will play April 11th, 2015 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Tickets $20; Arts Workers/Students $15. Buddies box office, or www.buddiesinbadtimes.com/tickets.
