Nicholas and Luke Ellenbogen's CATTLE DRIVE, has extended its season at Cape Town's Rosebank Theatre by popular demand and will now run until 16 November.

Subtitled "the story of the African cowboy", CATTLE DRIVE offers a glimpse of life in Africa from the comfort of the Rosebank Theatre, putting the spotlight on the great cattle drives through the bush of Botswana, a coming of age experience for young men who push herds of half-wild cattle to the markets in the south.

Starring award-winning actor Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi with Motheo Madisa and Tafara Nyatsanza, CATTLE DRIVE is directed by Jule Heidelbach. The production is presented by Theatre for Africa, a company that has long been viewed as the leading theatre company when it comes to this genre of music, dance and physical storytelling.

From 19 October, a dinner and show deal is available with the Rosebank Theatre partnering with HomeTown to offer a full evening out, where patrons can have a sumptuous two-course meal followed by high-class entertainment at the Rosebank for the unbeatable price of R225. Only a block away from the theatre, HomeTown and the Rosebank have created a wonderful cultural precinct in the heart of suburban Cape Town.

Performances of CATTLE DRIVE take place at 20:00. Tickets are available online through Webtickets or by phone on 072 3166 133.
