The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, centrally located on the Melbourne Campus of Eastern Florida State College, is poised to celebrate its 35th year of operation on the Space Coast of Florida. With exciting shows and special events planned for this year, it promises to be one of the best yet and the King Center would like to invite you to “Our Space, Your Place!” 

Joe Satriani, the legendary world-renowned guitarist, is planning two additional outings as a touring visual artist with showings coming to two Wentworth Gallery locations in March, 2023 - specifically, Saturday, March 11th at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and Sunday March 12th at the King of Prussia location.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH) has received an historic $1 Million grant from The Diana King Memorial Fund presented by The Charles and Lucille King Family Foundation. 

The long running Keepers of the Dream: A Community Arts Celebration of Dr. King's Vision will include performances by the River City Drum Corp, Keen Dance, The Real Young Prodigys, Redline Performing Arts, Lance Newman, Brandon Harrison, Miya Ford, Robin Garner, Tytianna Ringstaff, Erica Goodman, Jocelyn Owens, Derion Johnson, Koree Jackson and more.

Keepers of the Dream: A Community Arts Celebration of Dr. King’s Vision will return to The Kentucky Center on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

The King Center for the Performing Arts has announced the return of two incredible shows to the Space Coast! AEG Presents Tower Of Power, Celebrating 55 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music and will be performing here on Friday, March 3rd at 8 PM.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, has just added another huge list of performers to its already stacked 2023 lineup—which featured headliners like The Avett Brothers and Maren Morris.

Verdi's epic opera Aida returns to the Metropolitan Opera stage for fifteen performances, from December 2, 2022, to April 27, 2023. The monumental production by Sonja Frisell makes its last appearance since premiering in 1988 at the Met, where it has played 240 times.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts announces the return of SoCal's favorite holiday tradition - American Ballet Theatre's captivating production of The Nutcracker.  Co-presented by the Center and ABT with choreography by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, The Nutcracker is the beloved holiday story based on The Nutcracker and the King of Mice written by E.T.A. Hoffmann and set to a magical score by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky that will be performed live by Pacific Symphony.
