HBO Max has ordered eight episodes of The Event, an unscripted documentary series. Viewers will be given an unprecedented look behind the scenes of the extraordinary events created by Wolfgang Puck Catering and legendary restaurateur Wolfgang Puck. From Renegade 83, each one-hour episode will follow various members of Puck's team as they strive to amaze clients and surpass even the highest expectations. With events like the Academy Awards® Oscars Party to the 10,000 guest Adobe MAXBash under their belts, the sky's the limit for this impressive team.

(AWS), an Amazon.com company (NASDAQ: AMZN), announced the full lineup of artists performing at Intersect, a brand new music festival put on by AWS celebrating creativity, innovation, and community, that will debut December 6-7 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas. Overland Park Convention Center Makes Top 20 Convention Centers In The Nation

The Overland Park Convention Center and General Manager, Brett C. Mitchell today announced it has been named a top 20 convention center in the nation by EXHIBITOR Magazine, a leading industry publication honoring the best in meeting and event venues. It's second national recognition of the year, the convention center was also named a Best Convention Center in North America by Business View Magazine.

Save the Children, the international humanitarian organization, today announced that Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello will be honored at “The Centennial Gala: Changing The World for Children” in New York City, while Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company's Robert A. Iger will be honored at the “Centennial Celebration: Once in a Lifetime” in Los Angeles. Both events are a culmination of the organization's 100th year anniversary and will celebrate Save the Children's mission to do whatever it takes for the most vulnerable children in the United States and around the world.

The American Film Institute (AFI) announced today the first wave of guest presenters who will celebrate Denzel Washington at the 47th AFI Life Achievement Award on June 6, 2019, at a Gala Tribute in Los Angeles. Chadwick Boseman, Jodie Foster, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman (2011 honoree), Michael B. Jordan, Issa Rae, Julia Roberts and Cicely Tyson will all be in attendance to pay tribute to Washington's life and work. In addition, multitalented film, television and music video artist Melina Matsoukas (AFI Class of 2005) will receive the 2019 Franklin J. Schaffner Alumni Medal, recognizing her extraordinary creative talents.
