Broadway shows are returning to Louisville this month! Kicking off the PNC Broadway in Louisville 2021 lineup will be Waitress, which begins performances on November 9, and runs through the 14.

The Old Globe has announced its 2022 Season with a diverse and exciting lineup that features the Broadway-bound musical Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, with direction and musical staging by Tony Award–winning choreographer Wayne Cilento (Wicked, The Who’s Tommy); the world premiere and pre-Broadway run of Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical and more.

Mayor Bill de Blasio stopped by the Drama Book Shop to honor the bookstore and declare October 26, 2021 “Drama Book Shop Day.”  Co-owner Lin-Manuel Miranda was at the store to receive the proclamation from the Mayor, speak on the importance of getting vaccinated and encourage the community to shop locally to support small businesses. 

The Broadway productions of Is This A Room and Dana H. will conclude their limited engagement on Sunday, November 14 at Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre (149 W 45th Street, New York, NY). Dana H. will play its final performance at 2pm on Saturday November 13, 2021. Is This A Room will play its final performance at 3pm on Sunday November 14, 2021.

Hamilton officially returned to the Lyric Theatre in Sydney on October 19. To welcome the first audience back Brent Hill, who plays King George III, took to the stage in character to give a pre-show speech.

Tonight at the Booth Theatre, Broadway officially welcomes back Freestyle Love Supreme! Before Hamilton and In The Heights, there was Freestyle Love Supreme, the highly-acclaimed improv sensation conceived by Anthony Veneziale and created by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale. Before Hamilton and In The Heights, there was Freestyle Love Supreme, the highly-acclaimed improv sensation conceived by Anthony Veneziale and created by Thomas Kail, Lin Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s HAMILTON triumphantly took the stage at Broadway San Jose, returning to a changed world - as the masked patrons showing proof of vaccination at the door attested to. But more than that, in the intervening years since Miranda and his intrepid band of brothers (Alex Lacamoire, Andy Blankenbuehler and Thomas Kail) created the sound, look and feel of the nation’s origin story, the country today has undergone seismic shifts of great magnitudes.

Performances began for the return engagement of Freestyle Love Supreme on October 7. The show will run through Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Booth Theatre, 222 W.  45th Street.

Peacock’s Emmy-nominated late-night series The Amber Ruffin show kicks off season two with a live studio audience and a special performance by Freestyle Love Supreme. The performance will feature Kaila Mullady, Arthur Lewis, Anthony Veneziale and The Amber Ruffin show’s Tarik Davis.

There is a maximum purchase limit of nine (9) tickets per account for the engagement. When tickets go on sale, prices will range from $49 to $179 with a select number of premium seats available from $299 for all performances.  There will be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. Details will be announced closer to the engagement.

Freestyle Love Supreme returned to the Booth Theatre last night on Broadway for a limited run through January 2, 2022. It was created by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale and they are the recipient of a special Tony Award.
