The Washington Stage Guild will return to the stage with a masterwork by one of the modern theatre’s most important figures: My Children! My Africa!, the great South African playwright Athol Fugard’s meditation on education and its role in the struggle for justice, along with its sad limits in a culture of oppression and bigotry.

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati's 2021-2022 MainStage Season kicks off with ELF tHE MUSICAL JR. at the Taft Theatre December 4-12, 2021. Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 1 at 10 a.m.

The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace  Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey is thrilled to welcome back audiences in person as we  present our 40th Season. The League of Chicago Theatres has announced the 2022 Samuel G. Roberson Jr. Resident Fellowship, an annual grant awarded to a Black Artist to fund a residency with a Chicago area theatre. This year the award will go to a director.

The Belgrade Theatre has announced details of the first shows in its Spring Season from March to July 2022. Featuring The Bone Sparrow as part of their Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 programme, an adaptation of George Orwell's classic satirical story Animal Farm, and the world premiere of Fighting Irish, co-directed by the Belgrade's Artistic Director, Hamish Glen, and Co-Artistic Director for 2021, Corey Campbell, from Coventry writer Jamie McGough.

Optimist Theatre has announced the retirement of Ron Scot Fry, its Founding Artistic Director. Fry set the vision and mission of Optimist Theatre, from its founding as Midwest Children’s Theatre in 1993, through its evolution to producer of Shakespeare in the Park in 2010 to the post-pandemic return to live theater.

Kumu Kahua Theatre has announced their entire 50th Season of productions will be available to watch free of charge – with a subtitle option - for one weekend in August 2021. On the morning of August 7th, 2021, a playlist of the 50th season of Kumu Kahua Theatre will be available to watch on YouTube until midnight on August 8th.

TCT is holding online auditions for the 21-22 TCT on Tour Acting Company! All roles are paid positions. Auditions and Callbacks will be conducted via video submissions. To be considered, email a PDF of your current headshot and resume, as well as a YouTube link with a 1-minute song selection that shows off your range and personality.

The Des Moines Playhouse announced its 103rd year of live theatre via social media Monday, May 17, 2021. The 2021-22 Season includes some shows that were originally scheduled for the past 15 months and some new titles.

Moonstone Connections episode 7 is now available. The episode features Executive Director / CEO of The Theatre Communications Group in NYC, Teresa Eyring. Now in its 101st season, TCT is the oldest professional theatre for young audiences in the country and is recognized as one of the top children’s theatres in the nation. TCT brings art to life through three divisions: TCT MainStage at the Taft Theatre, TCT on Tour/WorkShops, and TCT Academy. 

This month Imagination Stage debuts the filmed version of its stage play 10 Seconds at two virtual screenings and online panel discussions.

The Growing Stage will present their first Studio Series of the 39th season, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, virtually unlimited streaming April 15th through the 18th. This production is directed and edited by Cara Scalera, the theatre's Manager and Teaching Artist.
