Stages Theatre Company (STC), rings in the new year and continues the journey OUT OF THE BOX! STC has adapted and journeyed OUT OF THE BOX since the start of the pandemic, providing engaging and meaningful theatre experiences for youth.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs tells the sweet story of an innocent young beauty who is banished from the kingdom and who, with the help of seven lovable dwarfs, ultimately finds everlasting true love. Complete with colourful music and dance, this bewitching dramatization of the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm has all the favorite characters: beautiful Snow White, the good-hearted king, the wicked queen, the seven dwarfs, and of course, the handsome prince.

A classic has come to the Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre stage as the Pyramid Players present a one-hour musical version of Sleeping Beauty. Based on the favorite childhood fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, this production opens the 2020 Live Theatre for Kids Series is now on stage through Feb. 29.

The Canadian Opera Company's HANSEL AND GRETEL, directed by Joel Ivany, is a spectacularly detailed production; unfortunately, the sheer amount of things happening at every moment overwhelms the gorgeous music and talented cast.

Enjoy an evening of music with Lyndon Samuel, and a host of special guests featuring the songs from Cleopatra, Dawn of Silence plus many more. A delight for fans of new musical theatre.

Following on from their critically and commercially successful 2019 season, The Barn Theatre have announced the seven productions that form their 2020 Built By Barn season, which includes the world premiere of Vicki Berwick's stage adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's The Mozart Question, directed by Olivier and Tony award winner John Caird.
