Broadway Across Canada's touring production of CATS was abruptly cut short in March 2020 when theatre venues were shut down because of COVID-19. It is now the first to emerge in Broadway Across Canada's 2022 season lineup.

A bespoke one-off experiential festival takes place in the heart of London next month to attract new audiences in a post-Covid environment with an indoor & outdoor mix of short events followed by equal intervals of fresh air.

One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to Fort Lauderdale from Tuesday, April 5, 2022 to Sunday, April 10, 2022 as part of a new North American tour. Tickets are on sale now.

Audiences and critics alike are rediscovering this beloved musical with breathtaking music, including one of the most treasured songs in musical theater—“Memory.” Composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, the record-breaking musical spectacular has captivated audiences in over 30 countries in 15 languages, is back on tour across North America. This tour features new sound design, direction, and choreography. 

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of TS Eliot's masterpiece The Waste Land, the Eliot Estate has commissioned Doran Browne Arts Imagineers to curate f r a g m e n t s, a six day festival featuring multiple diverse performances in 22  unique and extraordinarily intimate late-medieval churches many just a short walk from each other across the City of London inspired by themes and images from the poem. All connecting performance, poetry and place.

Cats opened at Times Union Center for the Performing Arts on February 22nd. Jacksonville audiences were ecstatic to see the 1983 Tony Award winner for Best Musical. The musical follows the story of cats deciding which cat will go to “Heaviside layer”, based on the T.S. Eliot poem “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.”

UTA Artist Space and Unit London have announced a new immersive environment by the celebrated Los Angeles-based artist Enrique Martínez Celaya. The Rose Garden ambitiously brings together new paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, garments, and writing, inviting viewers to consider the self—both its promise and its threat—through the mystical divination of memory.

After much anticipation following its critically acclaimed 2018 world premiere at the Fisher Center at Bard, Four Quartets will be presented at BAM from Feb 10—12. Along with a score by the renowned Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho played live by The Knights, and iconic painter Brice Marden, choreographer Pam Tanowitz creates a glorious and thrilling performance inspired by T.S. Eliot’s beautiful and mysterious meditation, Four Quartets. These haunting and evocative poems emerged in 1943 from the chaos of World War II as hopeful testaments to the redemptive power of spirituality, art, and human goodness in the darkest of times. Tony Award–nominated Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, Wit) performs Eliot’s text live on stage with the dancers who effortlessly elevate contrasts in dynamics, space, and form by pivoting large ensemble works with transcendent duets and riveting solos.

Undercurrent and Greece in USA present “Wasteland,” an interactive performance-based ice and soil installation by visual artist Michalis Argyrou and performance artist Rafika Chawishe from January 18-23, 2022 at Undercurrent on 70 John Street in Brooklyn, NY. 

One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts from February 8 - 13 as part of a new North American tour. Tickets are on sale now.

The 2019 film adaptation of Cats is now available to stream on Netflix in the UK. The film is not available on the US version of the streaming platform at this time.

CAPA and PNC Broadway in Columbus will present one of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS, coming to the Ohio Theatre January 11-16 as part of its new North American tour.

Other than being the source material for the plotless musical Cats and its equally abysmal film, T. S. Eliot was a prolific poet and writer. But the cute but posthumously rendered horrifying felines of his writings have nothing to do with the depths of his reflections on the human race of Four Quartets, which are now brought to the stage again after a previous run in Bath by former evil wizard Ralph Fiennes.

CATS. You either love it or hate it. Debuting on the West End in 1981 and adapted by Lloyd Webber from the 1939 poetry collection 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' by T.S. Eliot, the Broadway production ran for 18 years and currently sits as the fourth longest running show of all time on Broadway.

Sharing views not only on the current Broadway and Off-Broadway scenes, but offering an appreciative spotlight to Off-Off Broadway artists and other lesser-known entertainers who are just as important in making New York the nation's live performing arts capital. To encourage rather than critique.

The Forest by Florian Zeller, translated by Christopher Hampton, with direction by Jonathan Kent, will run from 4 February until 12 March. The Fever Syndrome by Alexis Zegerman, directed by Hampstead Theatre's Artistic Director, Roxana Silbert, will run from 18 March until 23 April. The Fellowship by Roy Williams, directed by Paulette Randall, will run from 17 June until 23 July.

The North American tour of CATS will stop in St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre December 21 - January 2.
