Works & Process at the Guggenheim is pleased to announce its spring 2019 season. Since 1984 the performing arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading creators. Programs explore the artistic process through stimulating discussions and riveting performance highlights. Each 70-minute program takes place in the intimate Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Peter B. Led by LCT3 Associate Director, Natasha Sinha, and presented in collaboration with Hypokrit Theatre Company's Tamasha, SHABASH! is a summer spectacle of new music and comedy celebrating a range of exciting new work by artists of South Asian descent, hosted by Danny Pudi ("Community") and Parvesh Cheena ("Outsourced"). SHABASH! will play three performances only on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

WORKING, the 1978 musical that celebrated America's multi-faceted workforce, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an all-star cast at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, August 12th at 7:00pm and 9:30om. The concert will be hosted by WORKING'S songwriter Stephen Schwartz.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announces 18 awards granted from their National Fund for New Musicals, and five awards granted from their Innovation & Exploration Grant program. The National Fund for New Musicals (NFNM) is a major funding program to support NAMT member not-for-profit theatres in their collaborations with writers to create, develop and produce new musicals. Now in its tenth year, this year the Fund is providing grants totaling $58,000 to organizations across the country.

Bristol Riverside Theatre ends its mainstage season triumphantly with the farcical period-piece musical Triumph of Love, based on the play by Marivaux, with book by James Magruder, music by Jeffrey Stock, and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead on May 1-20. Directed by Keith Baker, music directed by Douglass Lutz, and choreographed by Stephen Casey, the ensemble cast features Jake Delaney, Joy Franz, Adam Hoyak, Alex Keiper, Rebecca Robbins, Danny Rutigliano, and Carl Wallnau.

Ghostlight Records has announced the release of the Original London Cast Recording of Stephen Schwartz's WORKING on Friday, March 2. The album is being released following a hugely successful run at Southwark Playhouse, directed by Luke Sheppard in Summer 2017. This will be the first recording of WORKING since the Original Broadway Cast Recording in 1978 and will feature never before released tracks by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
