Theatre director, designer and performer Thaddeus Phillips, returns to Buntport via the virtual with 'ZOO MOTEL' . Mysterious & playful, and filled with Phillip's hallmark theatricality, ZOO MOTEL is a live (yet remote) interactive & intimate theatrical/cinematic play broadcast live from a village in South America.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has announced the nominees for theatrical excellence for the year 2019. This year they are forgoing their annual event ceremony and will instead post the award recipients online in the upcoming weeks: 

Vineyard Theatre has announced that starting tomorrow, Friday, March 13  all performances of Dana H. will be suspended through March 31. The theatre will play to 50% capacity April 1 - 12. This is in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and state and local health officials' executive orders.  

The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica is presenting the Southern California Premiere of HOME, created by Geoff Sobelle and directed by Lee Sunday Evans, who won a 2018 Bessie Award for Outstanding Production.

The cast is set for Pulitzer-winning playwright Annie Baker's sharp new comedy, a?oeThe Antipodes,a?? at the Mark Taper Forum March 25 through April 26, 2020. Directed by Machel Ross based on Lila Neugebauer's original direction of the world premiere at Signature Theatre, leads the Center Theatre Group production opens April 1. 

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that New York Times Critic's Pick, Dana H., by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters, has extended for the second time and will now play at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th St.) through Saturday, April 11. The production, which stars Deirdre O'Connell in the title role, made its New York premiere on Tuesday, February 25.
