Ensemble Studio Theatre kicks off the New Year with the world premiere of Maggie Bofill's Winners, a wild roller coaster ride for a modern family reeling from the Great Recession, presented in partnership with The Radio Drama Network. Winners begins previews Wednesday, January 14, at 7:00pm at Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street, for an opening Thursday, January 22, at 7:00pm. Mint Theater today announced the cast for their next production, Fashions For Men by Ferenc Molnar: Mark Bedard, Joe Delafield, Jeremy Lawrence, Rachel Napoleon, Annie Purcell, Kurt Rhoads, Michael Schantz, Maren Searle, John Seidman, Jill Tanner, John Tufts, and Gabra Zackman. Ghostlight Records will release the two-track single by pop sensation Ariana Grande from the Broadway show 13 - The Musical. Grande made her acting debut in the 2008 Broadway production, which has music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn. Fans of the chart-topping singer can hear her earliest recorded work as the songs 'Brand New You' and 'A Little More Homework' are now available together for the first time on iTunes here. A special new lyric video of 'Brand New You' is available on YouTube here. The full original Broadway cast recording of 13 - The Musical, as well as the London cast recording, is available from Ghostlight Records. Since its Broadway premiere, the show has had over a thousand productions around the world and is being developed as a movie musical by CBS Films. (more...)

This innovative and exciting hybrid theatrical concept is the culmination of Harris' successful 30 year career as actor, vocalist and, now, author. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony AwardŽ Winner Kathleen Marshall (Broadway's Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It), the production begins performances at Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre December 9. According to the Washington Post, later today Crow and Levinson will both take part in Post: POV, a series hosted by Peter Marks, at which the duo will discuss putting the new musical together. In 2013, The Happiest Song Plays Last premiered at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, with a later Off-Broadway run at New York's Second Stage Theatre in 2014.
