Producers Scott Rudin / Barry Diller / David Geffen announced today that the Broadway return of the Jerome Robbins / Arthur Laurents / Leonard Bernstein / Stephen Sondheim musical, West Side Story, has once again broken the all-time Broadway Theatre house record for a single week, with a gross of $1,807,025.94. In 7 performances the previous week, West Side Story broke the record (with a gross of $1,497,319) held by Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella ($1,479,889.97, established on 12/29/13, for an 8-performance week).
Cleveland Public Theatre and Teatro Público de Cleveland Will Present MARISOL by José Rivera

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) and Teatro Público de Cleveland (TPC) have announced updated plans for the 2019/2020 Season Spanish Language production. CPT and TPC will present Marisol, by José Rivera, translated by Aurora Lauzardo y Waldemar Burgos, and directed by Julia Rosa Sosa. The play will be performed in Spanish with English subtitles and will run March 5 a?" 21 in CPT's historic Gordon Square Theatre.

The Book of Mormon, Broadway's smash hit musical written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez, has played 1060 performances across in Australia since it opened in Melbourne in January 2017, but most close on Friday 14 February. The final weeks for the return Brisbane season will go on sale on Monday 9 December.

Producers Scott Rudin, Barry Diller and Sonia Friedman Productions today announced that Rhys Ifans will play the iconic role of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, the new play by Aaron Sorkin based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, directed by Bartlett Sher, which will open in London's West End in 2020. Producer Scott Rudin announced today that 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, will be a part of Center Theatre Group's 2020 - 2021 season at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas will perform the role of Atticus Finch.
