BIRDLAND THEATER will present Klea Blackhurst: “One of the Girls: the Words and Music of Jerry Herman” for three shows from Wednesday, October 20 through Friday, October 22 at 8:30 PM. Blackhurst turns her long association with Broadway’s Jerry Herman into a brand new concert, her first new show in almost eight years.

Carter Calvert will return to New Hope with her one-woman salute to Cline. Entitled, “Walkin’ After Midnight: A Patsy Cline Tribute,” Calvert will be backed by the Roger Cohen Band and will perform 10 shows from October 14 – 24.

An evening of vocal fireworks and beautifully sung arias awaits you! Philadelphia's own Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) trains the world's next generation of great opera singers. For over 40 years, this competition has showcased the brightest of up-and-coming opera stars. Join them for the annual favorite singing competition, where they'll compete against each other in song.

Celebrating Broadway’s return, Seth’s Broadway Breakdown will premiere with a press preview on Sunday, September 12, with performances three times a week starting on October 15th. The show will be produced by Asylum NYC’s artistic director, Alan Kliffer.

Steven Brinberg celebrates the 51st anniversary (delayed a year by the pandemic) of Barbra Streisand's beloved 1970 film, featuring many songs from and stories about the making of Vincente Minnelli's last movie musical.

No information has been released on who has been cast in these roles, but there were previously rumors that Lady Gaga would take on the iconic role of Fanny. More recent rumors on the internet pointed to the possibility of Idina Menzel leading the production, but those rumors were also never confirmed. Last year, Rosie O'Donnell revealed that she would be playing Mrs. Brice, but this does not appear to be true, as the production is looking to cast that role.

Centaurworld follows a war horse who is transported from her embattled world to a strange land inhabited by silly, singing centaurs of all species, shapes, and sizes.
