Upon entering, he finds an inhospitable bartender and a single surly customer who's strumming the blues on an old guitar. How could he resist an adventure like this?

Prolific, veteran character actor Basil Hoffman has died. He was 83. Hoffman passed on September 17th. His death was announced today by his longtime friend and personal manager Brad Lemack.

The Town Hall has announced a special evening with brothers Ron Howard and Clint Howard as they reflect on their new book THE BOYS (Harper Collins). The live evening, moderated by Malcolm Gladwell will take place on October 12 at 7PM at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street), the same day THE BOYS is released.
