BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  

Music's Biggest Night - the GRAMMYs - is here! Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. 

BroadwayWorld has learned that Michelle Williams has been advised by her doctors to take a leave of absence from performing. Lea Salonga, who originated the role in this production will play Erzulie from December 27 through its final performance on January 6.

It was announced today that the Tony Award winning Best Revival will close on Sunday, January 6, 2019. When it closes this production will have played 29 previews and 458 performances.

The producers of Once On This Island announced today that in honor of one year on Broadway they will celebrate their fans during the week of October 29. From October 29- November 4, the production will be hosting special events, giving away exclusive prizes, and offering a 2-for-1 deal on tickets. Once On This Island announced today that the Grammy Award-winning artist and Destiny's Child singer Michelle T. Williams will return to Broadway as Erzulie in the Tony Award winning Best Revival starting Friday, November 30. Michelle T. Williams will play the role through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Last year, Tituss Burgess revealed that he is working on a musical adaptation of The Preacher's Wife, based on the blockbuster film of the same name, starring Whitney Houston. The musical held a reading shortly thereafter.

Once On This Island not only was a surprise winner at this year's Tony Awards when it took the Best Musical Revival Award, but its mascot goat, Sparky, became the darling of the night when it walked the red carpet. Primary Stages announced today that its 2018 Gala will take place on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 6:30 pm. The event, which will be held at Tribeca 360º (10 Desbrosses Street), will honor Tony nominees Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins, The Music Man) and Danny Burstein (Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific); Eleanor Holtzman, trailblazing marketing executive and Primary Stages Board Member; and Jose M. Toro, Senior Director, Commercial Management, LeFrak Property Management.  

Hailey Kilgore will return to role of Ti Moune in Once On This Island tonight, Tuesday, September 4. Hailey has been out of the show due to a foot injury.

Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the eleventh annual Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2017-2018 season. Presented by Equity's National Equal Employment Opportunity Committee, the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award honors shows that exemplify and promote the union's founding principles of diversity, inclusion, non-traditional casting and equal opportunity for all who work in the theatre.

Original company member Loren Lott will take over the role of Ti Moune while Hailey Kilgore recovers from a foot injury.
