Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre remembers and celebrates one of their founding members MICHAEL JONES, who passed away a year ago. An Emmy winner and recipient of the Oklahoma Governor’s Arts Award, Michael was a co-founder and Artistic Associate at OKC Rep. While Michael was a pillar of the OKC theatre community, he also worked all over the country. Michael touched the lives and hearts of so many he worked with. The Winter Park Playhouse continues its live and recorded Spotlight cabaret performances with the exceptional comedic and vocal talent of professional performers, Adam Biner and Michael Scott Ross, in their new cabaret titled Whose Song Is It Anyway?  This rollicking new one-hour cabaret will be performed live with limited socially distanced seating at The Winter Park Playhouse on March 24 and 25, 2021. Joyah Love Spangler will be joining the cast of The Office! A Musical Parody, the unauthorized send-up of the hit TV series playing in the Jerry Orbach Theatre at The Theater Center. Ms. Spangler will be taking on the role that spoofs iconic TV boss, Michael Scott, replacing Sarah Mackenzie Baron who originated the role in the New York production. Her first performance will be on Thursday, March 12, 2020. The show's creators, Bob & Tobly McSmith implemented the gender-reversed casting decision in a bid to make the character's off-color humor and misogynistic language palatable in the #MeToo era - and it's worked quite well. The production continues to break Theater Center box office records and fans are posting all over social media - rejoicing that they still have a chance to see their favorite characters skewered in this spoof that Mashable calls a?oea boisterous, rejuvenating escape from reality that'll fill the void in your heart.a??
