After putting that time to good use, expanding her fan base from Boston to Broadway and beyond, Callanan is back home now. And she's living it up as diva Dee Dee Allen in the SpeakEasy Stage production of 'The Prom,' playing May 5 through June 10 in the Roberts Theatre at the Calderwood Pavilion, Boston Center for the Arts.

From May 5 to June 10, 2023, SpeakEasy Stage will present the Boston premiere of the joyous Broadway musical comedy THE PROM, winner of the 2019 Drama Desk Award for Best Musical. 

On Saturrday, 11/12 at 2 PM EST, noted interviewer Richard Skipper will join forces with 15-year-old theater podcaster Charles Kirsch to celebrate the life of one of Broadway's best, veteran press agent Susan L. Schulman.

Audiences can expect to feel the energy, joy, and laughter when Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) presents KINKY BOOTS, the freshest, most fabulous, feel-good musical and the winner of every major award, including the 2013 Tony Award for Best Musical! KINKY BOOTS sashays on stage from Tuesday, October 25 thru Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Routledge Press’ new book FIFTY KEY STAGE MUSICALS by Robert W. Schneider and Shannon Agnew, which rounds-up fifty musicals whose creations were seminal in altering the landscape of musical theater, is now being given a one night only concert with the artists who helped create these monumental musicals at 54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced that the North American tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s critically acclaimed production of Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY is coming as a part of its 2021/2022 Kravis On Broadway season.  Directed by Bartlett Sher, the North American tour will play the Kravis Center from April 19 – 24.
