New production photos have been released from Theatre Royal Bath’s production of The Deep Blue Sea, Terence Rattigan’s 1950’s study of obsession and the destructive power of love, starring Tamsin Greig as Hester Collyer and Oliver Chris as Freddie.

The National Theatre has announced two new productions for its South Bank stages this autumn: the world premiere of Tanika Gupta’s A Tupperware of Ashes in the Dorfman theatre, and a new play by Alexander Zeldin inspired by Antigone called The Other Place in the Lyttelton theatre.

Oliver Chris will join the previously announced Olivier Award winner Tamsin Greig to play Freddy opposite her portrayal of Hester Collyer in Theatre Royal Bath's production of The Deep Blue Sea, Terence Rattigan's 1950's study of obsession and the destructive power of love.

Pint of Wine Theatre Company has announced a development workshop of Tim Connor and Susannah Pearse’s new musical ‘The Bridge of San Luis Rey – A Musical Fable’.  This new musical is adapted from Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name, by permission of The Wilder Family LLC.

Shakespeare's Globe has announced casting for the Winter Season 2018, its plans for a year-long cycle of history plays from February 2019, and Globe Associates, to include Sean Holmes, who is to become Associate Artistic Director.

Directed by Gemma Bodinetz, winner of Best Director at the 2017 UK Theatre Awards, the production is the third in a series of four plays by the Everyman Company in 2018.
