Alan Jackson will be honored with the Artist of a Lifetime award (presented by Ram Trucks) at the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year celebration, joining the ranks of previous recipients Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers and Merle Haggard as he’s celebrated by his peers for a career spanning more than three decades.

Along with the accompanying official video directed by Austin Leih, the new song is the latest peek at her forthcoming album CAZIMI, her first new release in nearly a decade. Co-written with Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Tenille Townes, Lee Ann Womack), “Nobody’s Sweetheart” finds Rose conflating self-acceptance with rejection of popularity.

Country music icon, Martina McBride, has announced upcoming dates for her 12th annual The Joy of Christmas Tour. Kicking off on November 26th in Greensboro, NC, McBride will once again hit the road to celebrate the holiday season in what has become a favored tradition of not only her fans but of McBride's as well. 

Denim & Diamonds, the new album from Nashville vocalist and songwriter Nikki Lane, is out now. The King Center for the Performing Arts has announced two additional shows coming to the Space Coast!  Elko Concerts Presents, writing, singing, and performing artist, Gordon Lightfoot: The Legend in Concert on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 8 PM.

While Hood has helped pen songs for superstars like Miranda Lambert, The Oak Ridge Boys and Cody Jinks, who have all graced the Opry stage, this will be Adam's first time in the Opry circle. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has just announced initial casting for its Broadway Center Stage production of Guys and Dolls. Helmed by Marc Bruni, the all-star cast will be led by Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart as Nathan Detroit, Tony winner Jessie Mueller as Miss Adelaide, Steven Pasquale as Sky Masterson, and Tony and Grammy winner Phillipa Soo as Sarah Brown.

The themes addressed by “The Legend of Georgia McBride” sparkle in Florida Studio Theatre’s production, in a way both respectful of drag as an art form but also approachable, with characters that transporting them a glitter-filled odyssey though sexuality, gender expression, and family. Conservativism and religious hypocrisy take it on the chin in the newest play coming up this month from Script2Stage2Screen.  S2S2S is a company in Rancho Mirage which presents previously unproduced scripts as staged readings with blocking and suggested sets and costumes, but with scripts in hand.  For several years, their season finale has been a comedy written and directed by Jason Hull, a Palm Springs local.  His plays have developed a strong following of fans who love the situation comedies of the 70’s and 80’s.  They know they will have a good time with plenty of belly laughs.  The play runs for two nights only, April 22 and 23, and seating is limited.
