Veteran entertainer Eddie Griffin is back for his third SHOWTIME comedy special, EDDIE GRIFFIN: E-NIGGMA, premiering on Friday, December 6 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. A reading of the new musical The Count of Monte Cristo was presented on October 11th at Tuacahn Center for the Arts. Scott S. Anderson directed the private presentation of the musical penned by the Tony Award nominated team of Frank Wildhorn, composer, and Jack Murphy, book and lyrics.

Jason Mewes says Kevin Smith made himself 'Silent Bob' because he didn't want to learn any lines for the 'Jay and Silent Bob' films. Their latest film, 'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot', hits theaters October 15th.

Paramount Network today launched its first original digital series, On Location, hosted by Josh Horowitz. Each episode includes Horowitz interviewing a filmmaker or actor of note - including Michael Mann, Zooey Deschanel, M. Night Shyamalan, Kevin Smith, Lance Reddick and Robert Patrick - at a memorable filming location from their iconic movies. The first episode is now available on Paramount Network's YouTube Channel with Lance Reddick walking the streets of Manhattan where he filmed his memorable scenes in the John Wick movies. Content from the series will also appear on Paramount Network's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Today the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) announced the addition of more than 100 shows to the 2019 week-long laugh fest. The festival, which runs from November 4th-10th, will be taking place at some of New York City's most iconic venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall, and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center among others.
