The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the three transformational visits he endures from spirits of his past, present, and future will run December 11-21, 2014 at Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue. Queens based Titan Theatre Company opened it's final production of it's Award Winning and Critically Acclaimed second season on Friday April 25th, 2014 with the opening of its highly anticipated adaptation of Shakespeare's Epic KING LEAR. The production, which stars Broadway vet Terry Layman in the title role and is made possible through a generous grant from the Queens Council for the Arts, will runs thru May 11, 2014 at the Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue, located in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park. The J?st Project looks forward to returning to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the location where they launched their recording, 'Can't Find My Way Home' (Dot Time Records). As part of the Art After 5 series, the Philly-based band will perform today, May 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The band is made up of internationally renowned vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist/harmonicist Paul Jost, bassist Kevin MacConnell and drummer Charlie Patierno. This event is free with museum admission, $20; seniors $18; youth, 13 to 18, and students with valid ID $14; children 12 and under free.
