The Irvington Town Hall Theater in Irvington, NY announces the final reading in their Irvington Stage Door Reading Series of the new musical The Great American Whoopee by Gonzalo A. Valencia and Michael Campbell on Monday, May 18 at 7:30 pm. Rehearsals began this week for Queens Theatre & Titan Theatre Company's Co-production of its new stage adaptation of the Charles Dickens' holiday classic. The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the three transformational visits he endures from spirits of his past, present, and future will run December 11-21, 2014 at Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue.

Queens based Titan Theatre Company opened it's final production of it's Award Winning and Critically Acclaimed second season on Friday April 25th, 2014 with the opening of its highly anticipated adaptation of Shakespeare's Epic KING LEAR. The production, which stars Broadway vet Terry Layman in the title role and is made possible through a generous grant from the Queens Council for the Arts, will runs thru May 11, 2014 at the Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue, located in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park. The J?st Project looks forward to returning to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the location where they launched their recording, 'Can't Find My Way Home' (Dot Time Records). As part of the Art After 5 series, the Philly-based band will perform today, May 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The band is made up of internationally renowned vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist/harmonicist Paul Jost, bassist Kevin MacConnell and drummer Charlie Patierno. The Berkeley Festival & Exhibition has announced the addition of a concert by the Davis Senior High School Baroque Ensemble on Wednesday, June 4 at 5pm. Located just northeast of the Bay Area in Davis, CA, Davis Senior High School boasts the distinction of having established the nation's first Baroque orchestra in a public high school.
