The GRAMMY AWARDS Premiere Ceremony took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. PT. Preceding the 62nd Annual GRAMMY AWARDS telecast, the Premiere Ceremony was hosted by two-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Imogen Heap and featured a number of performances by current GRAMMY nominees. Performers included classical violinist Nicola Benedetti, jazz legend Chick Corea, folk music supergroup I'm With Her, West African sensation Angélique Kidjo and Best New Artist nominee Yola.

California based singer and songwriter Marc E. Bassy and hip-hop artist blackbear have teamed up to drop a carefree music video for their track 'Just My Luck'.

On Febraury 7, Kid Nobody will release their debut EP discretion. (pre-order). Today the band have revealed 'ready or not' the latest single to be lifted from the forthcoming EP. The track premiered today at Atwood Magazine and will be available on all digital streaming services this Friday. About the song Atwood Magazine says ''ready or not' is the kind of song that grows and grows, reaching its apex not once a minute through the chorus, but at the very end through some  melodic resolution that ties the whole four-minute experience together in a tight, cathartic knot. In this instance, such relief comes from the increasingly hot repetition, “ready or not, here we come” – a mantra capturing not only the heat of the moment, but also the ambitions of a band on the rise.' Singer Michael Wilson explains, “It's hard for me not to love the lyrics and poetic nature of this song. I wrote 'ready or not' for my then girlfriend (now wife). Our first few dates ended with us driving the canyons in the Santa Monica Mountains. There was just something so simple and pure about hitting the road with someone and having this shared anticipation, tension even, and then that being met with fading city lights, a dark open road, and just heading for an unknown horizon — it was thrilling and unexpected.”

Los Angeles-based band Kid Nobody have shared their holiday single 'Christmas 4/4.' The song is available to share at Soundcloud and will be on digital streaming services this Friday to add to your favorite holiday playlists. About the song Kid Nobody's Jesse Carmichael says, 'This is a very reimagined version of 'The Christmas Waltz' which was made popular by Frank Sinatra (written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne). It's a lyrics-only cover with all original music, melodies, arrangement and production. It's called “christmas 4/4” because we un-waltzed it (straightened it out into four quarter time instead of three quarter) and made it about as sexy as a christmas song is gonna get. We recorded the whole thing on a writing retreat in Big Bear in late September/early October (we highly recommend staying with our friends at Noon Lodge up there). It was actually a little cold (compared to still being 90 in LA) so it felt right to work on a holiday song.'

Rising London vocalist, songwriter and producer Khushi unveils a new music video for “Like A City” today. The video was filmed in Los Angeles and was directed by Erik Rojas. The track is the latest to be revealed from Strange Seasons, Khushi's debut album set for release January 24, 2020 on Warner Records.

London-based avant-garde House producer JKP has shared his double A-side single 'Blue Sun/ Quiet Place' on 15 November via Byson. JKP has seen support from CLASH Magazine, The 405, Deep House Amsterdam and Tonspion, as well as radioplay by BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens and BBC Introducing and shot to number 1 on Hype Machine with his edit of Dijon's 'Nico's Red Truck'. He has been featured by popular Youtube channels CloudKid and Wanderlust, and has played alongside the likes of DJ Zinc, Artwork and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

PuSh International Performing Arts Festival (PuSh) presents the Western Canadian premiere of Montreal choreographer Dana Gingras' visually arresting new work, FRONTERA, for one-night only, January 30, 2020 at 8pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Gingras and her internationally lauded dance company, Animals of Distinction, collaborate with the experimental post-rock band Fly Pan Am and members of the UK-based collective United Visual Artists to create a provocative multimedia experience of motion, sound, and light.
