Isaac Mizrahi returns to Café Carlyle with his all-new show, Isaac Mizrahi: Movie Stars and Supermodels, for a three-week residency, January 21 a?' February 8. His previous residencies in the room were sellouts, receiving widespread critical acclaim. Accompanied by his band of jazz musicians led by Ben Waltzer, Mizrahi will perform a range of tunes by the likes of John Denver, Bill Withers, Cy Coleman and Stephen Sondheim. He will dish on model fittings, intimate dinners and exclusive parties with Hollywood's elite, while sharing his hilarious musings on everything of the moment from politics to dieting to his latest Instagram obsessions. The New York Times noted, 'he qualifies as a founding father of a genre that fuses performance art, music and stand-up comedy.'

With apologies to Gluck, “Che faremmo senza Jamie Barton?”—'Where would we be without mezzo Jamie Barton?”--in the revival of Mark Morris's production of ORFEO ED EURIDICE at the Met, under Mark Wigglesworth's firmly rhythmic baton. ORFEO, written in the mid-18th century, was an opera of a different stripe for its time. (The Met uses the 1762 Vienna version, one of many.) It leans heavily on dance and choral singing, as well as recitative.

The drag and pop culture extravaganza welcomed 100,000 attendees between the LA and NYC events in 2019, with over 150 of the world's top drag queens mixing and mingling with fans of all ages and backgrounds. The Jewish Museum has launched new audio tours that will illuminate works of art from the Museum's collection, highlight a range of perspectives, and provide an engaging experience for visitors of all backgrounds. Tours feature the voices of contemporary artists Maira Kalman, Isaac Mizrahi, Arlene Shechet, and Kehinde Wiley; curators and rabbis discussing Jewish traditions and rituals through ceremonial objects; students talking about art; verbal descriptions for visitors who are blind or have low vision; and a podcast-style conversation between artists Ross Bleckner and Deborah Kass discussing their work in the context of Jewish identity and LGBTQ+ history.
