Het bekroonde toneelstuk van de Amerikaanse succesauteur Terrence McNally, dat op Broadway al voor veel opschudding zorgde, brengt op indrukwekkende wijze het boeiende levensverhaal van deze beroemde zangeres tot leven. Masterclass is vanaf mei 2024 te zien.  

Set in 19th century Paris, this opera depicts the pure love of the poet Rodolfo and the seamstress Mimì, and the impoverished yet free spirit of young artists with dreams of future success.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced its 2023/2024 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across many genres, as part of Great Performances at Mason and the Family Series. Season subscriptions are currently on sale to Friends of the Center for the Arts.

The Greek National Opera (GNO) presents leading French director Olivier Py's new production of Puccini's Madama Butterfly, following his acclaimed production of Berg's Wozzeck at GNO in 2020. Olivier Py, who has directed more than 40 operas around the world, embarks on his first staging of Madama Butterfly with a production that places the orchestra onstage and fills the outdoor venue with the aesthetics and colors of America and Japan.

Opera in the Pines will present Bar Crawl Bohème, an immersive, community-focused adaptation of the operatic classic La bohème in a first of its kind bar crawl across the state from Maine Beer Company on May 10, to Three of Strong Spirits on May 11, and Oyster River Winegrowers on May 12.
