Along with Doric Wilson's play Forever After  Playwright Danielle Frimer's play A Marriage Is A Story We Tell And Keep Telling will hit the stage at The Siggy at The Flea Theater this August. In this production a queer couple hides in the supply closet moments before what they hope will be their perfect wedding. Their jitters rocket them into a metaphysical meta theatrical manic meditation on the heteronormative nature of the marriage industry complex.  

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (Central) and New Earth Theatre have announced a new associateship, which will bring higher education arts training and the industry closer together.

Prospect Theater Company has announced the performers for their annual Spring Gala, being held Monday, May 1st at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street): Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Julia Murney (Baby, The Wild Party), Allie Trimm (Wicked), Genesis Adelia Collado (Prospect's Notes From Now), Darron Hayes (Prospect's Notes From Now), Matthew McGloin (Prospect's The Hello Girls), and Miyuki Miyagi (Allegiance, West Coast Premiere).

Next week, a trio of Broadway stars will take the stage at The White House as part of a state dinner for Yoon Suk Yeol, the president of South Korea.

Snehal Desai will become the next artistic director of Los Angeles’ Center Theatre Group, joining Managing Director / CEO Meghan Pressman to lead one of the nation’s largest theatre organizations.

The all-star voice cast includes Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, Matthew Rhys, Izaac Wang, AJ LoCascio, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green. On Friday, March 3rd, PFLAG celebrated 50 years of leading with love at a spectacular gala event in the city where it all started. The iconic organization—best known for supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people, parents, families and allies—was founded in March 1973.
