Daniel Radcliffe, currently starring on Broadway in Merrily We Roll Along, has once again voiced his support for the LGBTQ+ community in response to J.K. Rowling's most recent attacks on the transgender community.

The Novello Orchestra will present two classic Disney films in concert this summer, Beauty and the Beast and The Jungle Book will be performed live to film as part of Wimbledon Childrens Festival. Beauty and the Beast will take place on 10th August, with showings at 3pm and 7pm and The Jungle Book the following day on the 11th August, with showings at 10am and 3pm.

Harry Potter writer J. K. Rowling has taken to X again to continue spouting anti-transgender rhetoric. An X user sent a comment to Rowling, saying: 'Just waiting for Dan and Emma to give you a very public apology ... safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them...' See Rowling's response here.

Disney Theatrical Productions Australia presents a glorious new production of Beauty and the Beast, which will have its premiere Australian season in Sydney from June 2023 at the Capitol Theatre. 

Bill Oliver will direct the film, featuring a script that he co-wrote with Peter Nickowitz. Fernando Loureiro and Guilherme Coelho will produce the new film through their company, Tigress, with additional casting and a distrubtor to be announced.
