Rising star and Bay Street Records recording artist Iris Gold welcomes you back into her world of “hippie hop” with today’s release of Woman. The 12-track album was produced and co-written by award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and Eurythmics co-founder, Dave Stewart. Describing Woman, which was recorded at Bay Street Studios in the Caribbean, Gold explains: “I want people or fans of music and songwriting to know that this is not a throwaway bubble gum album. It’s not one dimensional like a lot of music these days. It runs deep on many themes particularly about women’s liberation, people’s freedom, and as a woman taking control of your sexuality.”

The award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer, innovator and Eurythmics co-founder will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this June, and is a current Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee for the Eurythmics. With the 26-track Ebony McQueen, Stewart showcases his ever-present creative ambitions with no signs of slowing down.

Prologue Theatre is returning to the Atlas Performing Arts Center April 28 - May 22, 2022 with The Revolutionists, Lauren Gunderson's dive into the French Revolution and Reign of Terror telling the tale of four very real women. It is a true story that is also fiction, and also a play about a play.

The second leg of the tour will follow previously announced dates playing historic venues such as NYC’s Carnegie Hall and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, plus the April 1 release of BeforeAfter (Legacy Recordings), Hall’s first-ever solo retrospective. As with the tour’s first leg, Todd Rundgren will be a special guest on all newly announced dates.

Birdland Theater will present a special evening with New York-based, Honduran-American violinist Marissa Licata on September 13 at 8:30 PM.
