TheaterWorksUSA's world premiere of the musical adaptation of Cat Kid Comic Club series by Dav Pilkey opens today, Sunday, July 30, at 3 PM. The limited run is written by the award-winning team of Kevin Del Aguila (book and lyrics) and Brad Alexander(music), with direction and choreography by Marlo Hunter and musical direction by Paul Staroba, and runs through August 27, 2023 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. I went on a fabulous cruise to Alaska on the Celebrity Solstice, through Seth Rudetsky’s Broadway Vacations. The best part was interacting with Seth, his husband (James Wesley) and the three other Broadway stars: Donna McKechnie, James Monroe Iglehart, and Ann Hampton Calloway. The scenery was impressive as well.

On May 22nd Tony Award winner Lillias White was presented the second annual Darrell Henline Award by the American Songbook Association.

This year, that recipient is the Tony Award winner Lillias White, who will be honored on May 22nd in a glitzy gala filled with show business greats.

Following the success of Dog Man: The Musical, TheaterWorkUSA’s new musical adaptation of  Dav Pilkey’s acclaimed and bestselling Cat Kid Comic Club series will debut at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

TheaterWorksUSA, currently presenting the hit family show Dog Man The Musical at New World Stages, will host its annual Spring Gala on Monday, April 24 (cocktails begin at 6 PM) at The Current at Chelsea Piers. 

Parade is back on Broadway! The revival, starring Tony Award winner Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond, directed by two-time Tony nominee Michael Arden, opened last night, March 16, at the Bernard B.
