Producer Mark Cortale has announced the season finale of his series at The Herbst Theatre  - two time Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman will join Seth Rudetsky on Sunday, May 19th at 8:00 PM for one show only. In this unique series, music director and host Seth Rudetsky welcomes the greatest performers for up-close and personal conversations and singing. The format of the show will be a seamless mix of great comedy/singing by Silverman and hilarious conversation prompted by Rudetsky's funny, insightful and revealing questions. This evening will continue to raise funds this season for San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, Project Open Hand and Sandy Hook Promise. Federal employees on furlough due to the partial government shutdown will be given free admission to Beautiful - The Carole King Musical for select Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evening performances.

EPIX has greenlit Laurel Canyon, a feature-length documentary that will pull back the curtain on a mythical world and provide an up-close look at the lives of the musicians who inhabited it. Through a wealth of rare and newly unearthed footage and audio recordings, the documentary will feature an intimate portrait of the artists who created a music revolution that would change popular culture. Alison Ellwood (History of the Eagles) will direct the feature-length film, which will premiere in late 2019 on EPIX.

 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member and world-renowned Nashville-based keyboardist Reese Wynans announces his first-ever solo album Sweet Release, a collection of songs honoring a paramount selection of blues-rock legends. The long anticipated album comes following a career that's spanned over 50 years and literally hundreds of historical collaborations. Sweet Release also serves as Joe Bonamassa's inaugural credit as a producer. Bonamassa has long been a fan of Wynans' work, urging him to create a solo album and championing the project as producer. Joining the festivities was special guest Patti Murin, currently starring in Broadway's Frozen.
