Producer Mark Cortale has announced that his internationally acclaimed Broadway @ concert series, hosted and music directed by Sirius XM Radio star Seth Rudetsky, will return to the Broward Center's Parker Playhouse with four of Broadway's hottest stars in early 2019.

The Recording Academy announced today its Special Merit Awards recipients. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Black Sabbath, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Billy Eckstine, Donny Hathaway, Julio Iglesias, Sam & Dave, and Dionne Warwick. Lou Adler, Ashford & Simpson, and Johnny Mandel are Trustees Award honorees; and Saul Walker is the Technical GRAMMY® Award recipient. A special award presentation ceremony and concert celebrating the honorees will be held on May 11, 2019, in Los Angeles. Additional details regarding the ceremony will be announced in the coming weeks.

A host of West End stars have recorded a festive cover of Carole King's You've Got A Friend, to raise money for children's charity, Barnardo's.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents the world premiere of My Very Own British Invasion with book by Tony award-winner Rick Elice (Peter and the Starcatcher).

GRAMMY® winners Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood; and past GRAMMY nominees Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry will join the performance lineup at the 2019 MusiCares® Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Dolly Parton on Feb. 8. Previously announced performers include Leon Bridges, Lauren Daigle, Vince Gill, Don Henley, Norah Jones, Shawn Mendes, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Linda Perry, P!nk, Mark Ronson, Mavis Staples, and Chris Stapleton. GRAMMY winner Dolly Parton will close the evening's performances. Greg Phillinganes will be the musical director. More guest performers will be announced shortly.

Final casting is announced today for the return of SIX, the hit musical by recent Cambridge grads Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. SIX returns to the Arts Theatre in the West End, where it ran for a short, sold out season in 2018.

The Winter Park Playhouse opens their Spotlight Cabaret Series new year with double the fun, as both Lindsay Nantz and Kate Zaloumes premiere a new cabaret, Better Together!  January 16 and 17, 2019. 

BroadwayCon has announced today that the new bio musical The Cher Show has joined the BroadwayCon 2019 MainStage lineup. As part of the Spotlight series, the panel will feature cast members STEPHANIE J. The Sydney Opera House today announced a sensational new music event that will bring together some of the greatest songs ever written by women, performed by some of Australia's leading female artists. Taking its inspiration from Helen Reddy's legendary lyric, this brand new show is a musical tribute to female empowerment and plays for two nights only in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on 13 and 14 December 2018.
