Geva Theatre Center's 46th Season concludes with the world premiere of Revival: The Resurrection of Son House, written and directed by Keith Glover, with music by Son House, Billy Thompson and Keith Glover, musical direction by Billy Thompson and choreography by Norwood Pennewell, in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from May 1 through June 2, 2019.

Grammy Nominated and Academy of Country Music award winner Lacy J. Dalton shows no sign of slowing down as she hits the road this summer, taking her music across the country. “What started off as a couple of shows, has turned into eighteen cities in seven states,” says Lacy J. “I am so excited to bring my music to my fans. I love to meet new people, and with my new project, Scarecrow, there is a lot of excitement happening right now for me.”

The New York Guitar Festival and Arts Brookfield will present "Memphis Minnie: In Search of the Hoodoo Lady," a free, outdoor concert celebrating the life and music of influential blues guitarist Memphis Minnie. The Saturday, June 1st, 7pm event will be held at Brookfield Place's Waterfront Plaza in lower Manhattan.

Executive Director Thor Steingraber unveils the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts' 2019-20 Season, which features a reconsideration of Randy Newman's musical Faust, in a concert format (May 9), an opening night recital with Itzhak Perlman accompanied by Rohan De Silva, piano (September 19), and a Beethoven 250th Birthday Celebration featuring six concerts beginning with Jonathan Biss, piano (October 15 & 16); other concerts include the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio (November 13), Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Pinchas Zukerman, Principal Guest Conductor and Violin Soloist (January 24), Christian Tetzlaff, violin, with Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (February 7), Academy of St Martin in the Fields with Joshua Bell (March 4) and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra (March 25).

Park City Institute Executive Director Teri Orr, tonight, announced the 2019 St Regis Big Stars Bright Nights Concert Series. The announcement marks the 16th consecutive season of summer concerts presented by the Institute. The season will be presented on the Eccles Center stage, in Park City.

Mary Chapin Carpenter and Shawn Colvin will embark on a series of tour dates throughout the fall of 2019. Carpenter and Colvin—longtime friends for over 30 years— will appear on stage together as an intimate acoustic duo, swapping songs and sharing stories. These special shows will feature the acclaimed songwriters performing material from their vast catalogues as well as some of their favorite songs.  

Pianist, singer and songwriter Bruce Hornsby's highly anticipated new album Absolute Zero—out on April 12—premieres via NPR Music's First Listen, who proclaim, “Absolute Zero is the sound of an artist subverting expectations and pulling it off brilliantly. In its inaugural year, this weekend-long festival celebrates the best of traditional and modern Americana with a lineup of performers ranging from contemporary singer-songwriters to legacy artists and those who defy categorization. The festival seeks to bridge generations and music, to bring together an eclectic group of performers for an amazing weekend of music.

Internationally renowned virtuoso guitarist and composer Gil Gutiérrez accompanied by David Rodriguez (Bass) and Robert Stern (violin) are set to perform live at the legendary Jazz Standard in New York City on Tuesday May 21st and Wednesday May 22nd at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

RICKIE LEE JONES is that rare musician who has transcended the singer/songwriter mantle by incorporating different radio genres from the get-go and she continues that tradition on the forthcoming album KICKS, her newest collection of songs from the great American songbook. Due out June 7, the album spans two decades (50s-70s) of pop, rock and jazz, presenting her unique and sophisticated interpretations of these songs.

Montoya and Ellis will each perform a full headline-length set at The Dirty Bourbon today, March 5, 2019. Legendary blues-rock guitarist and vocalist Coco Montoya will feature songs from his latest Alligator Records release, HARD TRUTH. He's currently at work on a new album due later this year. Tinsley Ellis is among the blues world's best loved, hardest working and most well-traveled statesmen. Ellis' latest release, 2018's WINNING HAND, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart.
