Trinity Theatre’s three brilliant Christmas shows will be performed by a newly announced nine- strong cast. These multi-talented multi-hyphenates will play multiple roles across three shows for triple festive delights!

In the 1970s the biggest comedy show on television was ITV’s The Comedians. And the breakout star, the one who shone brightest of all… was Charlie. Eh Up Me Old Flowers is written by Chris England, whose stage writing includes two plays that began life at the Edinburgh Fringe. The play will run at Edinburgh Fringe from 8-29 August.

FOX has ordered two additional seasons of the Gordon Ramsay hit culinary competition series HELL’S KITCHEN, renewing the show for its 21st and 22nd seasons. In the long-running series, aspiring chefs are put through an intense culinary academy to prove they have the endurance and skill to compete in the competition each week.

The production runs November 10, 2021 – December 31, 2021 at the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Regular ticket prices start at $29, and children’s (17 years and under) ticket prices start at $19. Chester Literature Festival opens at Storyhouse this weekend, and there is a packed two-week programme of book events, performances, discussions and workshops to enjoy. 

The Old Globe announced today its full cast and creative team for the live, in-person return of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The cast will be led by Andrew Polec as The Grinch. Polec returns to The Old Globe after his performance as Berger in the 2021 summer hit production of Hair, The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical.

The Hippodrome Theatre will celebrate the holiday season by producing not one, but two live holiday classics, Miracle on 34th St (the musical) Radio Play, adapted from the 1947 Lux Radio Broadcast by Lance Arthur Smith, with original songs and arrangements by Jon Lorenz and A Christmas Carol, Adapted by Niall McGinty from Charles Dickens' novel.
