The Shakespeare Center LA and After Hours Theatre Company announce the premiere of The Tempest: An Immersive Experience, a fully reimagined immersive performance based on William Shakespeare's The Tempest.  The director is Ben Donenberg, Shakespeare Center LA Artistic Director; Graham Wetterhahn is the Producing Artistic Director at After Hours Theatre Company.

Anthony Hopkins has joined the spectacular historical epic series, THOSE ABOUT TO DIE, in the pivotal role of Emperor Vespasian, it was announced by the show’s studio AGC Television via Chairman and CEO Stuart Ford. The series, to be directed by internationally renowned filmmaker Roland Emmerich, is written by Robert Rodat.

Hugh Jackman appeared on Good Morning America to discuss his new film The Son and to make a special announcement that The Music Man woudl extend on Broadway for two additional weeks. Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode will star in the film adaptation of Mark St. Germain's Freud’s Last Session. Sony has pre-bought the rights to the upcoming film, which is slated to be directed by Matt Brown. The play features a conversation between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis, as they discuss questions of faith, love, sex and existence itself.

Funny Girl star Tovah Feldshuh will recur as Bat Lady in Prime Video's new series, Shelter. The character is described as a reclusive, ghostlike figure who gives Mickey (Jaden Michael) a mysterious and disturbing piece of news. The cast also include Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Adrian Greensmith, Abby Corrigan, Sage Linder, and Brian Altemus.

Florian Zeller will make his television debut as the writer, director, and co-producer of the upcoming series adaption of The Lehman Trilogy. Florian Zeller is most known for his trilogy of plays, The Father, The Son, and The Mother. Later this year, a film adaption of The Son will be released starring Hugh Jackman.

Austin Film Festival (AFF), the premier film festival recognizing writers’ and filmmakers’ contributions to film, television, and new media, has announced that The Whale will serve as the festival’s Opening Night selection. Directed by Academy Award®-nominee Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, The Wrestler).

Cameron Bailey, CEO of TIFF, has shared that Brendan Fraser will receive the TIFF Tribute Award for Performance for his outstanding performance in The Whale.
