Aactor and filmmaker George Clooney, contemporary Christian pop singer-songwriter Amy Grant, the legendary singer of soul, Gospel, R&B and pop Gladys Knight, Cuban-born American composer, conductor and educator Tania León, and iconic Irish rock band U2 (comprised of band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.) are the Honorees.

Join The Classical Theatre of Harlem and Tony & Grammy nominee Joshua Henry for an intimate holiday concert and open bar at Harlem's famous Red Rooster on December 12th at 8:00 p.m.

The traditional Harlem Holiday Lights celebration, a production coordinated by Barbara Askins, the president & CEO of the 125th Street Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with Manhattan Community Boards 9 and 10, as well as Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association, is focusing on a call for Unity and Peace for Harlem, as the theme of the 29th year of this celebration. Bonhoeffer-Last Days will run at the Producers' Club the first 2 weekends of November. This play covers the last few days of the life of German dissident theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer had previously stood up to the Nazis and been told to stop giving public lectures. He did not and was arrested.

National Black Theatre will welcome Little Amal to New York City! Traveling far and wide, the 12-foot puppet will explore The Sounds of Harlem welcomed by the drumming students of the Harlem School of the Arts and The Kotchegna Dance Company at the State Office Building Plaza.
