4th Wall Theatre Company is entering their 13th season and celebrating with a frightfully fun fundraising party 'Cocktails & Costumes'.

In honor of the 45th Anniversary of the internationally prestigious Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, 4th Wall Theatre Company is hosting a special one-night only reading of this year's Prize Winner, IN THE AMAZON WAREHOUSE PARKING LOT by U.S. playwright Sarah Mantell.  Presented on Sunday, June 4 at 7pm, the reading will be followed by a reception and conversation with the playwright.

4th Wall Theatre will close its 2022-2023 season with the Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece, FAIRVIEW from May 26 – June 17, 2023.

4th Wall Theatre Company has announced that longtime collaborator and Houston theatre community mainstay, Jennifer Dean is stepping into the role of their Managing  Director. 4th Wall announced its search for a new managing director late last fall and after an  extensive search and interview process is excited to have Jennifer join the company full time  January 5, 2023. 

Nominated for six Tony awards, including Best Play, THE SOUND INSIDE by Adam Rapp will make its Houston premiere at 4th Wall Theatre Company on January 20, 2023.  

It is safe to say this is a great festival, and well worth your time over the weekend.  Happy ten years to FADE TO BLACK!  Here’s hoping for many more decades to come.

When Henrik Ibsen's character of Nora left her family in his famous work A Doll's House, western theater was thrust in to the modern era. Now in the 21st century, Nora returns in in Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House Part 2, and the audiences gets answers to the many questions one could have on what happened to Ibsen's feminist protagonist. The audience hears a knock on the door and the doting maid, Anne Marie (Sally Edmundson) opens the door to find the famous Nora standing where she once left.
