Catch the Fierylight & Little Angel Theatre co-production, THE SMARTEST GIANT IN TOWN, on tour from 08 October 2024 and returning to the West End for Christmas.

Following the announcement earlier this year that Fierylight and Little Angel Theatre's musical adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's classic story, The Smartest Giant in Town will play on the West End this festive season, casting is now confirmed for this Christmas production.

Today, 24 November 2021 iconic children's venue Little Angel Theatre celebrates 60 years of entertaining and inspiring generations of families through the magical artform of puppetry.  When a troupe of enthusiastic puppeteers under the leadership of John and Lyndie Wright transformed a derelict temperance hall in Islington into a theatre specially designed for children's marionette shows in 1961, nothing like it existed anywhere in London. 

Following a critically acclaimed run at Little Angel Theatre over the summer, producers Fierylight and Little Angel Theatre are delighted to announce a UK tour of The Smartest Giant in Town which will commence on 9 February and continue through to May 2022.

As Little Angel Theatre's doors are still closed, they're heading out across Upper Street to Islington Square for a two-week festival of outdoor performances and workshops, from 24 August - 3 September.

The Guild Hall Academy of the Arts honors composer/lyricist Sheldon Harnick with a Lifetime Achievement Awards for Performing Arts.
