Nationally touring Journey tribute, DSB, brings their hit packed concert show to the Grove Theatre on Saturday, September 27 at 8 pm.

The band was selected as the "World's Greatest Journey Tribute band" by AXS TV and business mogul Mark Cuban. DSB appeared on the nationally televised show "The World's Greatest Tribute Bands," which appeared in 40 million homes. DSB is the only Journey tribute to have had a member perform with the original band. The Los Angeles-based musicians performed for four seasons as the house band on "The Singing Bee," a CMT network show.

Journey was formed in 1973 with former members of Santana and the Stevie Miller Band. The band's strongest commercial success came in the late 1970s to the early 1980s. During this period, they had hits with a series of power ballads and rock songs, including "Don't Stop Believin'", "Any Way You Want It", "Faithfully", "Open Arms", "Send Her My Love" "Separate Ways", "Wheel in the Sky", "Who's Crying Now", "Stone In Love", "Lovin,' Touchin,' Squeezin;'", and "Lights". Throughout Journey's three decades of existence, their albums have achieved gold status twice, platinum status three times, multi-platinum plateau eight times, and Diamond one time. These include seven consecutive multi-platinum albums, stretching from 1978 to 1987. They had 18 Top 40 singles, six of which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their signature song, "Don't Stop Believin'", is the top-selling catalog track in iTunes history. Journey's songs have become arena rock staples and are still played on rock radio stations across the world.

Formed in 2009, DSB broke attendance records for city concerts last summer, drawing up to 14,000 fans. Valley Scene Magazine declared that the group "draws concert-sized crowds, even outdrawing name acts." The band has retooled their show from outside venues to more intimate theatre settings with the use of lighting and videos.

The DSB band has performed at a number of high profile performance venues, including the House of Blues and both the Las Vegas & Atlantic City Hiltons. Former Atlantic Records CEO Jerry Greenberg, who signed such bands as Led Zeppelin, called DSB "The next best thing to Journey."
