The Broadway Series begins with Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize winning musical A CHORUS LINE, November 5-6. In an empty theatre, on a bare stage, casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. For 17 dancers, this audition is the chance of a lifetime. It's what they've worked for--with every drop of sweat, every hour of training, every day of their lives. It's the one opportunity to do what they've always dreamed--to have the chance to dance. This is a musical for everyone who has ever had a dream and put it all on the line. Winner of nine Tony Awards, including "Best Musical" and the Pulitzer Prize for drama, this singular sensation is the longest-running American Broadway musical ever.

Next, Broadway Theatre League presents the classic tale of love, laughter and tradition. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF takes the stage January 14-15. This Tony Award winning musical, based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, has been lauded by critics again and again and won the hearts of people all around the world. Filled with a rousing, heartwarming score which includes, "Tradition," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," "If I Were A Rich Man" and "Sunrise, Sunset," FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is a timeless classic. No other musical has so magically woven music, dance, poignancy and laughter into such an electrifying and unforgettable experience. Relive a glorious tradition of the musical theatre with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.

March 18-19, Broadway Theatre League presents the South Bend premiere, THE COLOR PURPLE. This Tony nominated musical is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Alice Walker and the Academy Award® winning film by Steven Spielberg. It is the unforgettable and inspiring story of a woman named Celie, who finds the strength to triumph over adversity, and discover her unique voice in the world. With a joyous GRAMMY® nominated score featuring gospel, jazz, pop and the blues, THE COLOR PURPLE is about hope and the healing power of love.

The 2010-2011 Broadway Series at The Morris concludes with LEGALLY BLONDE, April 29-30. Based on the hit 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon, LEGALLY BLONDE follows sorority girl Elle Woods from the boutique to the courtroom and shows that being true to yourself never really goes out of style. This is Broadway escapism at its best. Spend two hours with Elle and the cast of LEGALLY BLONDE and be guaranteed to walk away smiling. This is the show the New York Post called "An Awesome Wattage of Girl Power!"

Broadway Theatre League is proud to announce the addition of Michael Flatley's LORD OF THE DANCE for one performance only, February 27 at 3:00 p.m. LORD OF THE DANCE is a mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance. The story is based upon mythical Irish folklore as Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, challenges the ethereal lord of light, the Lord of the Dance. Battle lines are drawn, passions ignite and a love story fueled by the dramatic leaps and turns of dancers' bodies begins to build against a backdrop of Celtic rhythm. The action is played out over 21 scenes on a grand scale of precision dancing, dramatic music, colorful costumes and state-of-the-art staging and lighting.
