Noticias Telemundo announced TRUMP EN LA CASA BLANCA, the most extensive coverage of a US presidential inauguration in the news organization's history, airing Friday, January 20 beginning at 9 AM ET/6 CT. The more than six-hour coverage effort will be led by "Noticias Telemundo" anchor José Díaz-Balart and the host of "Al Rojo Vivo," María Celeste Arrarás, in collaboration with journalists and presenters around the country. The Noticias Telemundo team will be based at a studio at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. and will enjoy special access to the ceremony, which will also be broadcast live on Noticias Telemundo's digital platforms on Facebook and Youtube and the Noticias Telemundo app.

"Donald Trump's inauguration will mark the first step in Noticias Telemundo's reporting on the Trump era, a period that could be crucial for the US Hispanic community and which we plan to dedicate major resources to cover," remarked Luis Fernández, Executive Vice President of Noticias Telemundo. "Noticias Telemundo prided itself on offering credible and rigorous Hispanic reporting on the presidential elections, and we will continue to do the same in this critical period for our community, staying faithful to our principles of telling things how they are and serving the Hispanic community."

Noticias Telemundo's inauguration coverage will include the swearing-in ceremony on the Capitol steps and all of the musicians and artists featured at the event, as well as the parade by military regiments, civil organizations and marching bands to honor the new president. The coverage team will also profile the reactions of Hispanics around the country, with analysis and commentary by Noticias Telemundo specialists. The regular broadcasts of "Al Rojo Vivo" and "Noticias Telemundo" will continue the analysis following the completion of "Trump en la Casa Blanca," with coverage running from 9 AM through 3PM ET (8 AM-2 PM CT).
