JFK Remembered: 50 Years Later - a new documentary from Robert Kline, the producer and director of the well-received 2008 documentary The Kennedys: America's Emerald Kings - will be included in the bonus material for the JFK 50 Year Commemorative Ultimate Collector's Editionbeing released November 12 on Blu-ray by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The new documentary will also be available individually.

Fifty years after his assassination on November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy remains as vital and compelling as when he was first elected. The Kline documentary reacquaints us with the first Irish-Catholic president and the youngest in U.S. history, offering images and personalities frozen in time. From Kennedy's nomination at the 1960 Democratic Convention in Los Angeles to his election in November 8, 1960; from his inspiring inaugural address to The Bay of Pigs; from civil rights struggles to space exploration; from the Berlin Wall appearance to his leadership during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Kennedy ranks among the great presidents in the history of the United States.

Robert D. Kline has produced or directed over 1,000 television, big screen and DVD projects. In the 1960s, he produced Firing Line with William F. Buckley, Jr. He is the former Vice President of Production at 20th Century-Fox and co-founder of Lifetime Television. He produced Oliver Stone's Golden Globe-winning filmHeaven & Earth. Kline's course at USC, "Terrorism and Genocide" evolved into a Discovery Channel series: Terrorism: A World in Shadows. Other directing and producing projects include Operation Desert Storm with General Colin Powell andOperation Enduring Freedom, a documentary on 9/11; and a series for Showtime/The Movie Channel called First Works, about acclaimed directors of our time, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, and others. Kline is also the producer/director of Ronald Reagan: An American Journey (2012); Betty White: The Wonderful World of Animals (2011); The Clintons: An American Odyssey (2011).

The JFK UCE features Oliver Stone's Director's Cut of the controversial and highly-charged motion picture, JFK. Stone directed the Zachary Sklar screenplay and an all-star cast headed by Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Bacon, Gary Oldman, Sissy Spacek, Jack Lemmon, Joe Pesci, Donald Sutherland, Laurie Metcalf, John Candy, Walter Matthau, Sally Kirkland, and Edward Asner.

The collection also features Stone's JFK: To the Brink, the insightful look at the JFK presidency that was included in his 2012 Showtime Series, "The Untold History of the United States"; John F. Kennedy: Years of Lightning, Day of Drums, a top-ten National Board of Review documentary produced by George Stevens, Jr., and written and directed by Bruce Herschensohn, who also composed the music; the feature film drama, PT 109, about Kennedy's World War II experiences as a skipper in the South Pacific; and commemorative items from the Kennedy Presidential Library: collectible reproductions of family and presidential photos, a campaign poster from the 1960 presidential campaign, and a copy of Kennedy's historic inaugural address. Lastly, there is a 32-page book of famous quotations, and a 44-page JFK movie photo book.
