Broadway and TV's finest vocalists are coming together for one night at Feinstein's/54 Below to celebrate Iconic Drag Roles on Broadway all to raise money for and help support Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS. Singing songs from beloved Drag and gender bending roles the evening will celebrate and showcase the characters that helped to shape the Broadway Scene and the visibility of LGBT characters on stage.

"From groundbreaking to heartbreaking this will be an evening you won't want to miss."

Drag Queens were at the forefront of the LGBT human rights movement and their presence on Broadway have undoubtedly helped to increase the visibility of our community and have opened the doors to being able to have LGBT characters not just be supporting but principle. Drag origins were first mentioned in the side notes of Shakespeare but after we could proudly say "I am what I am" everything changed. Highlighting some of the titans of Drag on Broadway the evening will not only entertain but will shed light onto roles that helped to shape today's Broadway from Le Cage to Kinky Boots and everything in between.

The evening will be sung by a variety of performers from Broadway to TV. Alex Newell (FOX's "GLEE" and upcoming NBC pilot "Imaginary Friend"), Jaime Cepero (NBC's "SMASH"), Chris Newcomer (Broadway's "CHICAGO"), Mark MacKillop ("WEST SIDE STORY", "ON YOUR TOES" Encores NY City Center), Alex Ringler ("PRISCILLA" First National Tour, "WEST SIDE STORY" Broadway, "PAGEANT" Off Broadway, and Chris Weaver with musical direction for the evening by Adam Michael Tilford.

With the proceeds from the Evening to benefit BCEFA tickets start at $25 with a $25 food & beverage minimum.

Tickets are available at 54below.com or by calling 646-476-3551
