Purcell: Dido & Aeneas | Handel: Acis & Galatea at The Cockpit

Ensemble OrQuesta returns to The Cockpit for the  7th consecutive year, with three operas..
This Baroque double bill will feature an adaptation of Marcio da Silva's 2016 minimalist production of Purcell's Dido & Aeneas and his 2018 production of Handel's Acis & Galatea. Both productions will explore the intimate setting of The Cockpit in Ensemble OrQuesta's signature style. The performers for this production will be participants of the Ensemble OrQuesta Opera Academy, which has been running for 10 years, with singers from all over the world.
