Wigan Borough Dance Festival at The Edge Arena

The Wigan Borough Dance Festival has grown into one of the most
anticipated events in Wigan's cultural calendar, and we’re excited to be
back in 2026. Over FIVE days in March 2026, we’ll showcase local primary
and secondary schools, youth dance companies, private dance schools,
community groups, and professional dance companies, all taking to the
stage to celebrate dance in Wigan. Young people will also have the
opportunity to participate in workshops, explore new dance styles, and
gain valuable new experiences, all while connecting with other dancers
from across the borough to build confidence and make new friends!

This year’s festival is proudly supported by the Granada Foundation,
School Games, and Curious Minds. The festival is funded by Arts Council
England and supported by Wigan Council.
