Thrill Me by Stephen Dolginoff is a True-Crime musical about the very real story of Leopold and Loeb, two pre-law students reunited after years apart. Before their separation, the two shared a deep infatuation, which Nathan Leopold maintains, but Richard Loeb does not (at least to the same extent). Upon their reunion, Richard yearns for more thrill, both in their relationship, and out of it. He craves excitement. This leads to him promising to give Nathan whatever he wants romantically in exchange for an accomplice to commit various crimes. But when they lose their thrill too, Richard discovers the only way he can truly be a Nietzsche "Superman" is to commit the ultimate crime: The murder of a young boy. This story follows their relationship, and the time leading up to, and proceeding the murder.
