Come and Sing The Creation by Haydn with John Rutter at Labrador Events

Labrador Events is delighted to present a COME AND SING day with John Rutter for the whole of THE CREATION, which he has often said is one of his favourite choral works. We shall be joined by Richard Gowers on organ and Fieri Consort will sing the solos.

Schedule:

• 10:00 - 11:00 - Doors open and Introduction
• 11:00 - 12:30 - Session One
• 12:30 - 13:30 - Lunch - bring a picnic to have on the glorious lawn beside the Abbey
• 13:30 - 15:00 - Session Two
• 15:00 - 15:30 - Tea Break
• 15:30 - 17:30 - CONCERT

Dress code:

• Please dress in comfortable clothing - this is a relaxed day to enjoy singing this wonderful music together and its not a formal occasion.

Resources include:

• Teas and coffees in the Abbot’s Hall
• Digital Score will be provided by email
• Teaching videos for each voice part of each choral movement of The Creation, taught by Ben England.
• One voice louder rehearsal tracks recorded by Fieri Consort.
