Le Art Directors Guild a révélé les nominés pour sa 30e cérémonie annuelle des Excellence in Production Design Awards, qui incluent les 78e Tony Awards annuels, Wicked: For Good, et le spécial Wicked: One Wonderful Night de NBC. Consultez la liste complète des nominations ci-dessous.
Les prix annuels célèbrent l'excellence en design de production dans les films de cinéma théâtraux, la télévision, les publicités, les clips musicaux et les films d'animation. La cérémonie aura lieu le 28 février 2026, à l'InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.
Parmi les autres nominés notables figure Hamnet, qui raconte l'histoire de William (Paul Mescal) et Agnes (Jessie Buckley) Shakespeare au XVIe siècle, ainsi que leur fils bien-aimé Hamnet. Dans le domaine de la télévision, des épisodes de The Gilded Age, Only Murders in the Building, et Mid-Century Modern ont été reconnus pour leur design de production. Toutes ces séries présentent des talents notables de Broadway.
« Alors que nous célébrons le 30e anniversaire des Excellence in Production Design Awards, nous célébrons non seulement les réalisations exceptionnelles de l'année écoulée, mais aussi trois décennies d'art visionnaire qui ont défini la narration visuelle des films et de la télévision, » a déclaré Dina Lipton, présidente du Art Directors Guild. « Ce jalon honore les directeurs artistiques, illustrateurs, artistes storyboard, décorateurs, artistes scéniques et graphiques, ainsi que tous les esprits créatifs qui travaillent dans le département artistique et qui continuent d'attirer et d'inspirer les spectateurs du monde entier. »
Les Lifetime Achievement Awards seront décernés à Bo Welch (designer de production, réalisateur), Jann Engel (décorateur, directeur artistique), Tom Southwell (illustrateur, artiste storyboard, designer de production), et Stephen McNally (artiste acénique), en reconnaissance de leurs contributions exceptionnelles et de l'impact durable sur leurs disciplines respectives.
